This eye serum has been a life saver recently and I cannot believe how easy it is to make! This pregnancy has taken a big toll on me with so many sleepless nights, I am so thankful this eye serum has kept my dark circles and the puffiness to a minimum!

It all started when I saw my friend’s Instagram posts on how much she likes Rose Hip Oil (Check her blog out www.constantlyontherun.com) and while I knew I didn’t just need it all over my face, I knew there had to be a way for this stuff to benefit me!

About the Natural Ingredients:

Rose Hip Oil

Rose Hip Oil comes from the Seeds of rose hips, which are the seeds that remain behind after a rose has flowered and lost its petals. The oil has been used for years and years because of it’s benefits for your skin! It is full of essential fatty acids, vitamins A, C, and E. It is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties.

Vitamin C: Aids in cell regeneration and helps with collagen synthesis.

Vitamin A: Vitamin A contains the compound retinol (which is a major ingredient in many acne medications!) which helps cellular processes in both the outer and underlying areas of the skin.

Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids: are easily absorbed by the skin to help hydrate and keep the outer skin layer soft.

Major benefits of Rose Hip Oil are: Anti-Aging Properties, Protection from Age-Spots, Reduce Stretch marks and Acne Scarring, Reduce Inflammation, and moisturizing properties to help with itching, flakiness, wrinkles, and eczema.

Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe Vera Gel is a moisturizing compound, good for all skin types, that can help reduce inflammation (acne control) and promote the growth of new cells. I love this brand!

Lemon Essential Oil

Lemon Essential Oil contains antiseptic properties that help treat acne and reduce excessive oils. However, the main reason to use it in this recipe is because it’s detoxifying elements rejuvenate saggy and tired-looking skin! I always use Plant Therapy for good quality and fair price!

Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender Essential Oil is a gentle oil that has soothing properties that can cleanse and remove toxins. It is anti-inflammatory so it can help reduce redness, blotching, and restore your natural skin tone. It is full of anti-oxidants that help protect your skin from free radicals, which contribute to fine lines and wrinkles. Again, I get mine from Plant Therapy

Fractionated Coconut Oil

Fractionated Coconut Oil nourishes, moisturizes and softens your skin. It’s high protein content can help repair skin, moisturize, and help with discoloration. I use this kind!

Where to Purchase your Natural Ingredients:

I generally buy everything on amazon, especially for this recipe. There isn’t really anywhere near me that I could go purchase these items. However, Amazon Prime means it will be here in 2 days - so in most ways - that’s even easier :) Here are the links to the products I use personally and recommend first hand:
